I am not particularly looking forward to this book. I think that when I read, it should be something I enjoy or something that I want to read. If it were up to me, I would have chosen to skip the all school read. “Surviving the Applewhites,” has no action, interesting characters, or anything that makes it grab the attention of readers. Although we are only on the fourth chapter of the book, I feel like the plot should’ve gotten slightly more exciting by now. I feel like the book would be better if maybe the author were more creative with the events of the first four chapters to get the attention of the readers. Hopefully the plot and events of the book pick up and the book gets more exciting.
